UAE Passport World’s Most Powerful 2024

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has once again secured the title of having the world’s most powerful passport, marking its fourth consecutive year at the top, according to the Passport Index. With an impressive score of 180 points, UAE passport holders enjoy access to over 90% of the world, traveling visa-free to 133 countries and obtaining visas on arrival in 47 more nations. Only 18 countries require advance visas for UAE citizens.

Other noteworthy rankings include Spain in second place with 179 points, followed by Finland in third. Among G20 countries, France holds the strongest passport with 178 points. Meanwhile, Kosovo experienced a significant boost, climbing 35 points after joining the Schengen Area. Conversely, the United Kingdom and United States witnessed declines, dropping to 32nd and 38th positions respectively, with the US ranking as the weakest passport among G7 nations. The Chinese passport stands at 110th.

The UAE passport continues to exemplify global mobility and diplomatic success, setting a benchmark for nations worldwide.
